The final game in the NES trilogy that has some of the best graphics, sound, and gameplay I've ever seen for this system. I remember the first day I got it: Christmas '90 (I think) my aunt got it for me I hadn't even heard it had come out, but here I was with it in my hands. I just had to play itGraphics 9 out of 10
the graphics were awesome (for a NES game) with bats and candles and all other manner of creatures with great movement and many frames of movement. The only downfall for the game was that it was on the NES and that too many sprites on screen would slow movement. Backgronds quite good, especially the clock tower with all the moving cogs and gearsMusic and Sound 8 out of 10
Although the NES was never known for its arcade sound the first 2 games had much better background music and sounds. one reason for this was probably the lack of info to put the songs on because of the greater No. of levels sounds and characters. Considering the space of memory available the cartridge was probably jammed with all they could fit on thereGame Challenge 10 out of 10
with multiple paths and character morphs the game had all the elements and more of a classic game. I still play it and compared to some of the newer games where it seems like all they do is find any old story line and couple it with the latest trend in graphics and sound.Overall 9.7 out of 10
My all time favorite NES game.
