College slam was released on the Saturn during one of it's best years, 1996, it was also realeased for the Playstation, Super NES, and Sega Genesis... if you ask me, this is the best version that was released... Graphics 9/10 The graphics in this game is alot like NBA Jam, but with a couple of Theatrical movies, and a few improvements, the Audience looks descent, but does lool a little unreal and it stands out really well... thge court is one of the best points of the graphics... it's shiny, it has the right angle of the camera, and of course, looks like a B-ball Court... but the Characters faces look unreal and looks like they just cut pictures out of the crew and put them on there bodies.... Sound/Music 5/10 First, lets start with the sound, not very good, in fact the only REAL sound effects during gameplay that you hear is the Ball Bouncing, and the Players groanin', and for the music, well there is barely any music during gameplay and every once in a while, the Band will start booming, the band isn't that good either, though it's really loud and clear, it;s just plain annoying Control 9/10 What would you expect from Acclaim? The people who made NBA Jan and had perfet controls? Gameplay 8/10 You pick your teams, (Which BTW has no real players on them) and you start the game, you either have season play, head-to-head, or create your own team (really cool) and you well, try to beat the opponent, and try to win be the Champ... easy 'nuff'easy's aid Rent or buy? I got this for about 3 bucks, and that was at Software ETC. so at a pawn you could get it at prob 1-2 dollars... so it's worth the small ammount of money... .
