Graphics Since this is really the only Saturn game I've ever played, I can't compare the graphics to any other games on the system. However, I can say that the game looks almost as good as Star Fox 64. You generally have only one direction to travel in each level, but the areas to appear to be large. It creates an interesting effect, but also makes it seem frustrating that you can travel where you might like to. Explosions are good, and serve to give you satisfaction, especially after beating a really large boss. And so, overall, things are really good in this category. Much better than I had expected before I started playing. GamePlay This game is remarkably similar to Star Fox 64. You ride on a Dragon instead of flying on a ship, but the concept is still the same. Your basic objective is to destroy as many enemies as possible and make it to the end of each level. You are able to lock on to enemies in order to accomplish this. It is definately in your best inerests to try to beat as many enemies as possible. There are some problems worth mentioning, though. First of all, the game is not very difficult. There might be one or two levels that are pretty challenging, but even those can be beaten after just a little bit of practice. Another factor is that there simply aren't enough levels to begin with. This game is probably about the same length, if not shorter, than SF64. After you've played for a while, you probably won't have much trouble at all finishing in one sitting. I have found that despite these minor faults, the game is still very enjoyable. Music None of the music was very memorable. In general, I don't consider a games music to be an extremely important factor, with the exception of the RPG genre. The music is decent and is not a nuisance, and so I won't fault the game for it. Final Thoughts This was the only Sega Saturn game I ever had the opportunity to play. If I still owned the system, I'd probably still play through it from time to time. If you don't mind that the game is too short and a little too easy, it's probably not a bad idea to try it out. Odds are that you won't be dissapointed, and you might find another great game to play. Overall: 8 out of 10
